Carbon steel prices move weekly with the Chinese domestic market. Our reference band of $490-560/ton FOB reflects hot-rolled coil and plate offers from major Chinese ports. Structural-grade and thicker sections sit at the upper end; high-volume repeat orders sit at the lower end. Each quotation is locked for 3-5 days with a stated validity window, so you always know how long the number is good for.
